Age Limit:
Candidates should be born between 01-07-1993 to 30-06-1997 (Both dates inclusive) for 1, 01-07-1993 to 30-06-1999 (Both dates inclusive) for 2, 3 Posts. Age relaxation is admissible as per rules.

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree of recognized University with minimum 55% marks in aggregate (i.e. 1st Semester to 8th Semester for BE/ B.Tech or 1st year to last year for Bachelor Degree Candidates wherever applicable) for S.No-1,
Mathematics and Physics as subjects upto intermediate or class XII of 10+2+3 scheme of education [Candidates not in possession of Physics & Maths in 10+2 (Intermediate) level are not eligible for General Duty (GD) & General Duty (Pilot)] for S.No-2,
12th class pass with 60% marks in aggregate and should possess current/ valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL) issued/ validated by DGCA for S.No-3 Posts.

How is the President elected? 

Indirect elections by members of Electoral College consisting of:

1. The elected members of both the Houses of Parliament;
2. The elected members of the legislative assemblies of the states; and
3. The elected members of the legislative assemblies of the Union Territories of Delhi and Puducherry

What is the Qualifications for Election as President?
1. He should be a citizen of India
2. He should have completed 35 years of age.
3. He should be qualified for election as a member of the Lok Sabha.
4. He should not hold any office of profit. Every candidate has to make a security deposit of Rs 15,000 in the Reserve Bank of India.

Who administers the Oath of the president? 

1. The oath of office to the President is administered by the Chief Justice of India
2. in his absence, the senior most judge of the Supreme Court

What is the TERM of the president of India?

1. The President holds office for a term of five years
2. He address resignation letter to the Vice President.
3. He is eligible for re-election to that office for any number of terms.


Impeachment of President may be initiated in which house? 

1. President may be removed by the process of impeachment for ‘violation of the Constitution’

What are the veto powers of the president?

1. Absolute veto- withholding of assent
2. Qualified veto-can be overridden with a higher majority.
3. Suspensive veto, - over ridden with an ordinary majority.
4. Pocket veto- taking no action on the bill passed

 There is no qualified veto in the case of Indian President


What are the pardoning powers of the President?

Article 72


The pardoning power of the President includes

1. Pardon: completely frees the person from all types of punishments and disqualifications
2. Commutation: The President may substitute a harsher punishment with some lighter one, like changing a death sentence to a life imprisonment
3. Remission: The basic punishment remains the same but the duration is shortened
4. Respite: In case of a special circumstance, like physical disability, the President may award a lesser sentence than the one that was originally granted
5. Reprieve: Grants a temporary stay on the execution of the sentence, allowing some time for the convict.

RIVERS OF INDIA




भारत नदियों का देश है यह लगभग 4000 से भी अधिक नदियााँ है|

Mainly Indian rivers can be divided into two parts. 

1- Himalayan Rivers
2 - Peninsular river


Himalayan Rivers: 


1- (Indus river system)
 2- (Ganga river system)
3- (Brahmaputra river system)
 Indus river system Includes below rivers
Indus
Jhelum
Chenab
Ravi
Sutlej
Beas

Note: 

In 1960, Indus Waters Treaty occurred between India and Pakistan. In which, Pakistan will have the right to 80% water of Indus, Jhelum, Chenab. While India will control 80% water of Sutlej and Ravi. The jury of these five rivers is called Panchnad. These five rivers drawn near Mithaan coat in Pakistan.


Indus River:

 Point of origin: It flowed from Chemayung Dung glacier near Mansarovar Lake in Tibet.
Finally, it Falls into the Arabian Sea.
 Length: 2880 km.


Jhelum:

 It originates from Sheshnag lake in Kashmir.
It forms India-Pakistan border from Muzaffarabad to Mangala.
It joins the Chenab in Pakistan.
The total length of Jhelum is 724 km.
(400 km in India).
In ancient times it is known Vitsta


Chenab: - 

This river originates in Himachal big from BaraLacha La Pass.
 Initially, it originates from both side of baraLacha La as Chandra and Bhaga.
So, it is also called Chandrabhaga.
In ancient times it was known Askini.



Ravi River: -

It originates from Rohtang Pass in Himachal Pradesh.
It is also released into the Chenab river.
 Its total length is 725 km



Sutlej: 

It originates from Raakas taal near Mansarovar lake.
Ahead, it meets with Chenab.
 Its total length is 1500 kilometres.
In ancient times it was known as Shutudrai.



Beas river: - 

It rises from Beas Kund near Rohtang Pass.
 It is released into the Sutlej River.
Its total length is 725 km.
In ancient times it was known Vipasha.




River Ganga: -

 point of origin: It originates from The Gangotri glacier in Uttarakhand near Particular place is called Gaumukh. Where the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi river flows in two waves.
These two streams meet at a place called Devaprayag.
 From here, it was known as the Ganga.
The other two branches of the river Alaknanda is Dhauliganga and Vishnuganaga.
 Dhauliganga and Vishnuganaga came to a place called Vishnuprayag.
 Later, the Pindar river joins to the Alaknanda river.
 This place is called Karnprayag. Similarly, the meeting place of Alaknanda and Mandakini is called Rudraprayag.
Finally, it joins the Bay of Bengal,
 its total length is 2525 km.



Yamuna: -

 It originates from a place called Bandrpunc peak near Yamunotri glacier.
Finally, it is released into the river Ganga near Prayag (Allahabad).
It is the largest tributary of the Ganga.
Its total length is 1375 km.


Ramganga:
-

 Originates from the Himalayan range near Nainital. Its total length is 696 km in India. It is released into the river near Kannauj



Ghaghara river: -

 It originates from Mpsatung glacier near Talikot in Nepal.
Its total length is 1080 km



Gandak: -

 It originates from Nepal joins the Ganges near Patna.
Its total length is 425 km in India.
It is known as Shaligram in Nepal and Narayani in planes.


Kosi: 

- It originates from Kanchenjunga mountain passes and go ahead it join the Ganga.
Its total length is 750 km.



Chambal: -

 It originates from Mhow near Indore.
 Its total length is 966 km.
Finally, it meets with Yamuna



Betwa River –

 It originates from Vindhyachal mountain near Kumara village in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh. Finally,
 it meets with Yamuna near Hamirpur
. Its total length is 480 km



Son: -

 It originates from Amarkantak hills and It join the Ganges in Patna.
Its total length is 780 km.



Kali Sindh (Sharda):
- 

It originates from Milam glaciers in Kumaon Himalayan and finally dropped into Ghaghara river near Bahramghat.



Luni River: -

 It originates from Naag mountain in Ajmer district and merges into the Rann of Kutch.
The total length is 320 km.




Sabarmati river: -

 It originates from Jai Samundra lake on Aravalli mountain in Udaipur district and finally dissolved in Gulf of Khambhat.
Its total length is 371km.




Godavari - 

It originates from Trymbk peak near Nasik. I
t is the most length in Maharashtra and Falls into the Bay of Bengal.
 Its total length is 1465km.
It is also called South Ganaga





Penganga: -

 It originates from the Nandi Hills in Karnataka.
It flows between rivers Krishna and Cauvery.
Its total length is 597 km.





Cauvery: 

- It originates from Brhmgiri hill of Karnataka.
Its total length is 805 km.
It is also called old Ganga or Bridh Ganga.
The river ruptured two streams is three times and Manufactures three Islands- Srirangam, Srirangapatna, Shivsmudram.
