• Asian Development Bank in its Asian Development Outlook 2017 has downgraded India's GDP growth to 7 per cent from 7.4 per cent in financial year 2017-18. In financial year 2018-19, the forecast is adjusted down to 7.4 per cent, from 7.6 per cent. 

एशियाई विकास बैंक ने अपनी एशियाई विकास परिदृश्य 2017 की रिपोर्ट में वित्त वर्ष 2017-18 में भारत की सकल घरेलू उत्पाद (जीडीपी) वृद्धि दर का अनुमान 7.4 से घटाकर 7% कर दिया है। वित्त वर्ष 2018-19 के लिए यह अनुमानित आंकड़ा 7.6% से घटाकर 7.4% किया गया है। 

• Shashi Shanker has been appointed as the chairman and managing director (CMD) of India's biggest oil and gas producer ONGC.

• Sebi Chairman Ajay Tyagi has been ranked at the seventh position among the top 10 regulators worldwide. This is the list of the world's ten most influential people in the market structure, also known as The Exchange Invest 1000 (EI1000). 

सेबी के चेयरमैन अजय त्यागी को विश्व के शीर्ष दस नियामकों में सातवें स्थान पर रखा गया है। यह बाजार ढांचे में विश्व के दस सबसे अधिक प्रभावशाली लोगों की सूची है। इसे द एक्सचेंज इन्वेस्ट 1000 (ईआई1000) भी कहा जाता है। 

• The Asian Development Bank has sanctioned a USD 150 million soft loan for Nepal to improve urban infrastructures in the southern area of the country.

आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस बैंकिंग मंच 'पेजो' ने भारतीय स्टेट बैंक के लिए एक चैट सहायक सेवा 'एसबीआई इंटेलिजेंट असिस्टेंट' शुरू की है जो उसके ग्राहकों के प्रश्नों का समाधान करेगी। 

• Technology giant Apple has been named the most valuable brand for the fifth consecutive year by Interbrand in its Best Global Brands Report 2017.

• Karnataka government will launch 'Mathru Purna' scheme on October 2 to meet the nutritional needs of pregnant and lactating women in rural areas. 

कर्नाटक सरकार, ग्रामीण इलाकों में गर्भवती और स्तनपान कराने वाली महिलाओं की पोषण संबंधी जरूरतों को पूरा करने के लिए 2 अक्टूबर को 'मथ्रू पूर्ण' योजना की शुरुआत करेगी।

• Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh launched the Platform for Effective Enforcement for No Child Labour (PENCIL) Portal at the National Conference on Child Labour organised by the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
