The Defence Ministry cleared a proposal to buy six Apache combat helicopters and other weapon systems for the Indian Army from the US Company Boeing at a cost of around Rs 4,168 crore.

The Institute of Microbial Technology, under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Johnson & Johnson for the purpose.
